(Or if you forget to make 5 picks!) It would be nice if there was a reminder to make your picks if you've forgotten. Either an hour before the first game, or something configurable.

Yes! I've missed picks because I got the first notification and then picked one game, but didn't pick the full 5. I think we can add a more intelligent notification that checks how many games are left compared to how many picks left a player has to make and alert them.
